The United Capoeira Association Hayward is offering a week-long, full day camp that will provide an immersive environment for enhancing your child’s capoeira practice and passion for it! Our curriculum is well paced and challenging, focusing on capoeira development and cultural enrichment. It is sure to be a fun and memorable experience for young capoeira campers. Capoeira experience is not required, so come check us out and add some Afro-Brazilian style to your child’s summer camp activity list.

and crafts • Capoeira storytime • team building through games and much more

Campers should remember to bring:

Lunch and favorite snacks
Comfortable clothing
Comfortable shoes for walks to the park
Sunscreen
Water Bottle
For children with intense allergies, please pack Epi-Pen just in case of emergency.

We will provide:

Daily snacks
Arts and crafts materials
Composition/Journal Notebooks
Water

Daily Itinerary:(Physical Activities will vary between Capoeira, Dance, Acrobatics, Maculelê)

8:50-9am - Arrival
9-9:30 - Circle up and check in
9:30-10:30am - Physical Activity 1
10:30-10:45 - Snack Time
10:45-Noon - Arts & Crafts
Noon-1:30pm - Lunch
1:30-2:45 - Physical Activity 2
2:45-3pm - Snack Time
3-4pm - Portuguese Class/History/Open Gym

I hereby acknowledge that I wish for my child to participate in the UCA Hayward Youth Summer Camp at 22491 Foothill Blvd in Hayward, CA. I understand that instruction in martial arts, fitness classes, and related activities involve strenuous exercise and can result in personal body contact and/or injury. As a condition to being admitted as a participant to the event, I assume the risk of injury to my child and to his/her/their personal belongings; I agree to hold the studio at 22491 Foothill Blvd, it's owners, it's tenants, its employees, volunteers, and agents harmless from any and all liability (including attorney’s fees and costs) for all claims, actions or damages due to injuries suffered by my child or caused to someone else by child, arising out of the activities that I participate in, whether occurring at the 22491 Foothill Blvd facilities or elsewhere during the summer camp. I hereby assume all risks connected therewith and consent to participate in this event. I also understand and agree that the strict observance of the UCA Hayward’s CODE OF CONDUCT shall be adhered to at all times.
