More Than a Studio, UCA Hayward is a sanctuary for Afro-Brazilian culture and an incubated project of Beloved Communities Network. It is where we preserve history through music, where we build physical and mental discipline, and, most importantly, where we build a family. In a world that often feels disconnected, our studio provides a space where people of all ages come together to learn, sweat, and grow.

 

The Challenge We Are Facing

This year, we are navigating a deficit in our operating budget. Like many community organizations, we are facing a gap between our operational costs and our current revenue.

 

While our spirit is strong, these financial hurdles make it challenging to maintain the full breadth of our programming and facility needs without extra support.
